We encourage everyone in the community who is interested in preserving open spaces and protecting the aquifer to come be part of the discussion.
Presentations to focus on opportunities to preserve agricultural and timber lands, open space and the aquifer, including through agriculture uses. Speakers from American Farmland Trust (David Anderson), Idaho Farm Bureau Federation (Brandon Jensen), Idaho Cattle Association and USDA Wildlife Services are scheduled, as well as local county Commissioner and Legislative Candidates have been invited. Coffee and pastries served. Local elected officials, agriculture organizations and members of the public are encouraged to attend. Presented by Kootenai-Shosone County Farm Bureau and Kootenai-Shoshone Soil & Water Conservation District in cooperation with Agriculture Sustaining Aquifer Protection.
No registration needed, doors open at 9:30 AM.
